Report card/ letter grade

Wow. Semester one went by fast, and surprisingly I've managed to survive the stress. This year I did double the physical activity than I did last year. I noticed it showed in my fitness too. I did have a small bumb in the road and I actually dropped on my beep test score, but I worked harder and did better on other fitness days. I will admit, i do not always put in a 100% and I am not the perfect student. I'm not good at every sport, but I don't mind trying new things. Even if I can't play, it's still fun to try and maybe I could learn a thing or two from people who do know how to play. I also have always been a positive girl, it's just my personality. I guess I just don't think winning is always that important, yes it's so amazing when you do win. But even if I don't win at a certain game, if I had fun and the people around me did aswell then I don't mind at all! This semester I dealt with a heavy schedule of skating and dance. I know many don't think dance is a sport, but if I come home sweating and aches and pains everywhere I'm pretty sure it had to work something. I feel a six pack coming on:') anyways it's competition season right now for both dance and figure skating. I've been doing a minimum of 4 hours I physical activity everyday. I am in so much pain right now. Travelling for competitions is a lot of fun though so I don't mind. I also don't just do sports I eat healthy. Well most of the time. I have a salad everyday, and try to eat as many fruits as possible. I try to balance my meals aswell. I have a lot of this information in previous blog posts, so I won't drag on. For any supporting evidence, scroll down and view some of my past blog posts with pictures. In the end I think I deserve an A. I really do care about my health.

  1. Thanks for this post Roya. I know it is weird being one of two students NOT in band but you are very lucky to have a class which is so positive about doing their best. I really like that you are looking for positives but also recognizing areas you can improve. Try reading teacherneufs.blogspot.ca for the four pillars of PE. This will help you frame some of your future posts. Read some of the other girls posts too.. that might help flush out your ideas. Dance as sport seems to be a huge debate lately? It doesn't matter if you call it sport or not... it's athletic, a great work out, and totally dope. I'm so proud of the spirit and success of our school dance teams. BIG UPS!! Let's get the "learning" part of this blog really popping by June. :)
